Ministry
at Work
ETS is designed to equip lay leaders and those seeking ordination
as deacons or priests to strengthen the congregational ministry
of the church. It is a program of spiritual formation, instruction
& study with an emphasis on the application of practical ministry.

created as a result of ETS ministry projects.
In addition to those featured many other ministries are carried
out by ETS participants in local churches, regional ministries
and the diocese:
Prison Ministries -- building Sunday School Programs from the
ground up -- members of the Commission on Ministry and Council
– Lay Eucharistic Visitors -- reading the Daily Office --
Pastoral Visitors -- to name a few. Thanks be to God!

Beth Marquart Receives Licenses as Worshop Leader, Cathechist and Preacher

Beth Marquart received licenses to serve as Worship Leader, Catechist and Preacher from the Rev. David Hackett during the Holy Eucharist on May 19, 2008. Beth completed three years of academic work through the Equipping the Saints program in 2005. David acted as Beth’s supervisor as she completed the praxis requirements in all three areas between August 2007 - April 2008. These are the first licenses awarded by Bishop Klusmeyer through the Equipping the Saints program, which is dedicated to forming congregational leaders in the Episcopal Diocese if West Virginia. |
